Case Manager, MD, LMCC, IMG
Kamran Moradi, LMCC, is an international medical graduate and clinical researcher with a broad foundation in primary care, hospital-based medicine, and neuroscience. He graduated from Tehran University of Medical Sciences and completed extensive clinical training across multiple teaching hospitals, gaining broad exposure to hospital-based and outpatient medicine. Prior to moving to Canada, he practised independently in Iran for several years, assessing and managing a diverse range of patients with acute and chronic medical conditions across both outpatient and hospital-based settings.
Dr. Moradi brings particular depth to the intersection of brain health, cognitive function, and mental health. His clinical approach integrates comprehensive medical history, psychosocial context, and neurological and psychiatric assessment into clear, individualized care plans. Having worked with patients across diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, he is attentive to the ways that culture, language, and life experience shape how patients understand and communicate their symptoms. He has a strong interest in structured cognitive evaluation, mental status examination, diagnostic clarification, and understanding how physical health, neurological symptoms, and mental health influence one another, interests central to a comprehensive brain health approach.
Alongside his clinical background, Dr. Moradi has more than a decade of research experience spanning neurology, evidence-based medicine, rheumatology, medical education, and interprofessional collaboration. His academic contributions include multiple peer-reviewed publications, systematic reviews, clinical trial coordination, and longitudinal data analysis. He is currently engaged in active research collaborations with the University of Southern California on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and with McMaster University on evidence-based clinical documentation and AI-assisted applications in medicine.
At Elumind Clinic, Dr. Moradi conducts client intake and comprehensive clinical assessments under the supervision of Dr. Edalati, a licensed psychiatrist and clinic director, contributing to a collaborative, evidence-informed approach to brain health care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Moradi is an avid hiker and cyclist who finds balance and perspective in nature and the outdoors. He has a deep appreciation for travel and cross-cultural experience, which informs his empathetic and open-minded approach to patient care. He also practises mindfulness meditation and maintains a regular fitness routine, commitments that reflect the same dedication to well-being that he brings to his clinical and academic work.
