Dr. Sabiha Arshed is a physician with a diverse background in psychiatry, pediatrics, public health, and research. She holds a Doctor of Medicine degree and a Master of Science in Pediatrics from the University of Alberta, and has gained experience across a range of clinical and community-based healthcare settings in Canada and internationally.
Her work is grounded in understanding the full context of a person’s mental health concerns. Dr. Arshed has worked closely with individuals navigating complex medical, psychological, and social challenges, helping them make sense of their symptoms, identify priorities for care, and move forward with clarity and support within a multidisciplinary framework.
Her experiences in public health and academic environments have shaped a broad perspective on mental wellbeing, particularly the ways developmental, social, and biological factors intersect across the lifespan. She brings a thoughtful, grounded approach to clinical work, informed by both individual patient needs and population-level considerations.
Dr. Arshed has a strong interest in integrative and brain-based approaches to mental health, with a focus on applying neuroscience-informed principles to support meaningful, functional recovery. She values evidence-based practice, careful clinical reasoning, and collaborative, patient-centered care.
At Elumind, Dr. Arshed works as part of the clinical team to support clients through comprehensive assessments and integrative mental health services in a collaborative care environment.
Outside of clinical work, she is committed to mentorship, community health advocacy, lifelong learning, and promoting balance and wellbeing in both professional and personal life.
