QEEG & Neurofeedback Technician, BSc Psychology
Krysta has a deep understanding of psychology and practical experience in neurofeedback to help optimize brain health and cognitive performance. Holding a BA in Psychology from the University of British Columbia Okanagan (UBCO), she has a rich academic background that integrates clinical neurobiology and neuropsychology.
Krysta is currently studying to become a Certified Positive Psychology Practitioner through The Flourishing Centre in New York, with completion expected in 2026. Her focus is on strength-based approaches to personal growth, resilience, and well-being. In addition, Krysta is a Certified Meditation Instructor, supporting her passion for the transformative power of mindfulness practices and incorporating them into therapeutic settings.
With a keen interest in psychoneuroimmunology, Krysta is dedicated to understanding the connections between the brain, immune system, and overall health. Advanced coursework in neuropsychology, psychovocational, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological assessments enhances her ability to support individuals with learning disabilities, cognitive dissonance, and executive functioning challenges.
Krysta has over 20 years of experience working closely with families and children. Her expertise in supporting neurodiverse individuals is built on cultivating effective strategies to overcome cognitive barriers. She is also looking forward to continuing her education, with plans to pursue a Master’s degree and training in hypnotherapy.
Outside of work, Krysta enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, particularly at the beach and boating, where they find relaxation and joy. This personal commitment to balance and wellness complements her professional work in neurofeedback and brain health.
