Dr. Shailja Bakshi was born in India, where she completed her Medical Degree and began her professional journey in healthcare. With approximately four years of clinical experience in India, Dr. Bakshi developed a strong foundation in patient care across various medical disciplines.In 2023, Dr. Bakshi migrated to Canada, bringing her extensive experience and a passion for continuing her medical career. During her transition, she worked as a Health Care Assistant and a Behavioural Interventionist, roles that allowed her to gain valuable experience in the Canadian healthcare system while pursuing further studies. These roles strengthened her ability to provide patient-centered care and deepen her understanding of local healthcare practices.\
Dr. Bakshi successfully completed the Canadian Medical Licensing Examinations and earned the distinction of being a Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC), allowing her to practice medicine in Canada.Currently, Dr. Bakshi is a valued member of Elumind Centres for Brain Excellence, where she is dedicated to helping patients on their healing journeys. With her diverse medical background and clinical experience, she is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care, particularly in the realm of brain health and neurotherapeutic modalities.Excited to continue making a positive impact in her new community, Dr. Bakshi looks forward to further contributing to the Canadian healthcare landscape.
